The Bridge: Data Quality for Prevention Education Tracking

kNot Today is building the Bridge, a system for tracking where and how child sexual abuse prevention education is delivered. We help make sure its data are accurate and ready for research and surveillance.

Why it matters

Tracking data are only useful if they are complete and consistent. Building data quality in from the start makes it possible to use the Bridge to answer research questions, such as whether prevention education is linked to lower rates of abuse.

What we’re doing

kNot Today leads the development of the Bridge. We work alongside them on its data quality systems, for example, checks for completeness and consistency, and on how the system is designed, so its data can be used for research and surveillance. Indiana is the first state using the Bridge.
